Ucrilico was founded in 2018 by two brothers with an entrepreneurial spirit and a shared determination to support themselves through university. As first-generation immigrants in Canada, construction work was always close at hand. Among the many trades, painting stood out—not only because it required fewer certifications, but also because it allowed the flexibility needed to balance demanding studies with hard work.

What began as a way to fund their education quickly grew into something bigger. The brothers recognized an opportunity to build a company that challenged the stereotypes often associated with the trades—unreliability, lack of professionalism, and rushed work. For five years, Ucrilico grew steadily in Winnipeg, earning trust through attention to detail, clean finishes, and respect for every client’s space. Once their degrees were completed, the brothers chose to pause the company and pursue careers in their respective fields, carrying forward the lessons learned through years of hands-on work.

Now, after two years away, Ucrilico is beginning a new chapter in Calgary. Led by the younger brother, the goal is to build on the foundation established in Winnipeg and grow into something even stronger—a company that combines experience, professionalism, and a modern approach to painting.
